MENTORS

Congratulations!

You have been assigned an engaged couple and are about to embark on a delightful and rewarding journey. There is no doubt that the precious friendship that you will form will enrich, bless, and encourage you both. Clearly, your most important preparation will be to nurture your own marriage; however, there are a few practical tasks as well. The first thing will be to obtain the materials that you will need to facilitate Preparing to Live in Love (PLL) with your engaged couple.

How to obtain mentoring materials

The materials you will need consist of two PLL Couple Packs and two copies of the NFP Booklet, "A Total Gift of Self." As soon as you have been assigned an engaged couple, take the appropriate steps to obtain these materials. Some parishes order through a central contact person, but in most cases, mentors will order materials directly from the PMRC.

All you need to do is save the MSWord file, Request for PLL Materials, to your computer, type in the information asked for, and email the file to PMRCusa@msn.com.

Request for PLL Materials

Please, order your materials at least two weeks in advance of your first session with your engaged couple to allow sufficient time to get materials to you. We can generally respond in less time, and will do our best to support your need, but we would appreciate this consideration. If ordered directly from the PMRC, materials will be shipped to the address provided on the form.

How to obtain a Completion Certificate

As soon as you are certain that your engaged couple will complete Preparing to Live in Love, you may request a Completion Certificate to present to them at your final session. The Certificate documents the fact that they have completed the program and can be shown to the pastor or priest who will preside at the wedding as necessary.

All you need to do is save the MSWord file, Request for Completion Certificate, to your computer, type in the information asked for, and email the file to PMRCusa@msn.com. Please, order your Certificates after Session 5 in order to have them on hand for Session 7.
